...spanning the show floor. But the flood of information can be a burden. Who wants to carry so much paper? And are all those materials really being read, or are they quickly discarded? The Management Solutions & Services (Solutions) practice of Deloitte & Touche decided to make it more convenient for show attendees and save waste and cost by minimizing the paper collateral it distributed at two important trade shows: Cue, the Lawson Software show, and Focus, the J.D. Edwards show. Chris worked with Solutions to develop unique collateral for each show housed on a convenient, business card-sized CD. The PDF files on the CD replaced a dozen or more individual printed pieces, while the CD home pages featured general information about Solutions and Deloitte & Touche, with links to the appropriate Web sites. Only one item was printed for each show--an overview of Solutions' work that briefly highlighted the offerings described in more detail on the CD. Chris also helped develop booth signage for each show and pre-show publicity postcards.
